Making it possible to use unlimited number of symbols in Formulas (version 3.2.88l)

By Michael Bock, Founder & CEO - January 24, 2014

Formulas have in general been limited to use a maximum of 25 or 50 symbols depending on which operating system the central version is running under.

This limit could easily be reached if using large CASE formulas with many values.

We have now recoded our formula engine to allow for an unlimited (or very large) number of symbols, so now the real limit for a formula should only be its length, which is currently limited to 5000 characters.
