New Comment Editor Feature on Transfers (Beta - February 2015)

By Beate Thomsen, Co-founder & Product Design - February 16, 2015

Horay - it is a pleasure to tell you about this new feature that we have added to MyRapidi. Currently the Comment Editor is released in Beta version which means that you can use it as it is, but there will be changes to the functionality - we would really like your feedback on this, so please try it out and let us know what you think. Simply just post a comment below.

Documentation and More

The goal with the new comment editor feature is mainly for documentation purposes where you as a admin or user can document and describe processes and actions etc. either just for yourself but certainly also for other users.

Currently the Comment Editor gives you the possibility to add comments under the Transfers section. By clicking on the Comment icon it opens up a window where you can view and search comments listed by author and date. You can also add new comments. The comment icon will indicate if there are some comments - if there are, it is filled with green text. When you hover or go over the icon it shows how many comments there are.
To edit or add comments simply click the comment icon and add your content. It's a WYSWYG editor so you can format your text and make lists and tables etc. to make your comments clear and easy to read.

RapidiOnline Expertise Right at your Fingertip

We at RapidiOnline want to take it a step further as we plan to add comments to our Standard Integrations (with comments, best practices and tips for e.g. an ideal setup) in that way you have RapidiOnline Expertise right inside the application. Furthermore this will be used by our Implementation or Support Team when they change something, they will start to document this directly in the Configuration like this.

Please Tell Us What You Think

For the moment you can add comments in the transfer section but the plan is to extend it to the other sections such as Connections, Schedules, General Application (Dashboard) - however this is the first release of the feature and we would like some feedback from you on how to improve it and make it better.
So, please do not hesitate to tell us your thoughts by adding a comment below, we would love to hear from you.

Have a great day.

Michael and Beate
