Our philanthropic approach: the 1% model.

When RapidiOnline started we always aimed at having an influence and impact on making the world a better place. So inspired by companies like salesforce.com we commited us to what we call the 1% Model. The 1% Model is based on a simple idea: Leverage our people, technology and resources to build collective knowledge and enable action to improve communities throughout the world.

People

We engage ourselves in their local communities, where we are part of volunteer projects through e.g. Rotary International.

Technology

We donate and discount our integrations solutions to help nonprofits increase their effectiveness—so they can focus more time and resources on achieving their social mission.

Resources

We make grants and donation with a focus on people and organisations making a difference and contributing with actions to make this world a better place.

This year we donated to:

Eau sans Frontieres (Water Without Borders International), an independent organization founded help the poor by enabling them: access to water and sanitation are essential to life, creating and maintaining market gardens, livestock development, to protect the health , literate and train people continuing cooperation.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists providing independent, impartial assistance in more than 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care or natural disasters. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.



Un Enfant Par la Main (ChildFund Alliance), whose mission is to support children and families in the poorest through child sponsorship and implementation of micro-projects, working closely with three members of the ChildFund Alliance network: ChildFund International (United USA), Australia and ChildFund BØRNEfonden (Denmark).



Furthermore we are also donating 1% of our time to different projects - mainly helping out in projects organised by Rotary International
