Healthcare Data Integration

Healthcare suppliers sell to hospitals, care facilities and health systems, where one customer can hide many sites. Rapidi keeps the ERP and the CRM holding the same customer and order data, so sales can see which site is actually ordering.

Why healthcare suppliers struggle with integration

The same problems come up when a healthcare supplier tries to give its sales team a clear view of its customers.

  • The same hospital exists several times in the ERP, created by a web order, a phone call or a busy customer service desk.
  • A whole health system is held as one customer, so nobody can tell which facility placed the order.
  • Buying decisions for many items are made locally, but reports only name the parent group.
  • A CRM that simply copies records from the ERP copies every duplicate along with them.
  • Nobody can see when a transfer fails, so the team cannot fix problems itself.

Each one blurs the picture, and together they turn sales planning into guesswork.

Why healthcare suppliers choose Rapidi

  • Decades on these systems. Rapidi has connected Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce since long before either was in the cloud, including older versions still in use.
  • No code. Transfers are configured on screen, so an integration does not become a development project.
  • On-premise reachable. An ERP inside your own network is connected without opening inbound ports.
  • Encrypted in transit. Traffic between your network and the platform is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3.
  • Built for multi-entity groups. Several companies or databases can run on one setup rather than one integration each.
  • Transparent cost. Published pricing, so the budget does not depend on a scoping exercise.
  • Support from people who know both systems. An in-house team, not a ticket queue.

What you get out of it

Less manual work

Transfers run on their own, so nobody re-types an order that already exists in another system.

One version of the customer

Accounts, orders and invoices line up between the CRM and the ERP.

Order history sales can see

Order and invoice history reaches the people talking to customers.

Mapping that fits how you sell

Transfers are set up field by field, so the CRM does not have to copy the ERP one to one.

Lower build cost

Pre-built templates instead of a bespoke interface written and maintained for you.

Room to grow

Add a company or a system when the business changes, without starting again.

How Rapidi connects your healthcare systems

Ready-made templates on a secure cloud platform, joining the ERP that takes the order and the CRM that plans the next one.

ERP and finance

Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV, GP, C5 and Oracle NetSuite. Almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, connects through the generic interfaces.

CRM and sales

Salesforce, Dynamics 365 Sales and HubSpot, so the sales side sees orders and invoice history.

Databases and reporting

Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2 and Google BigQuery, for the reporting layer you already use.

Three steps, no developer

  1. Connect. Choose the systems you want to integrate.
  2. Configure. Set up the transfers on screen, field by field.
  3. Sync. Data moves automatically, in real time or on the schedule you set.

What that looks like in practice

AliMed has designed and supplied healthcare products since 1970, and is best known for custom positioners. A hospital could exist ten times in its Microsoft Dynamics AX, and a whole health system counted as one customer. An earlier integration attempt failed its first test after 7 or 8 months. With Rapidi, a SQL table in the middle tied many AX accounts to one Salesforce record, and grouping by delivery postal address gave Salesforce an account for each facility, without touching the ERP.

In their own words

What customers say

“Initially, we were focused on the cheapest integration solution, anything that could connect AX to Salesforce. But, at times, the cheapest is not best. You need an integration partner that understands the quirks of the ERP, such as AX timestamps. With Rapidi, we are finally exchanging accurate data.”

“We could submit a problem in the afternoon, and often by the time we got to work the next morning, we would have a solution.”

Frequently asked questions

Which ERP systems can Rapidi connect for a healthcare supplier?

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Dynamics C5 and Oracle NetSuite all have their own connector. Rapidi is flexible enough to integrate Salesforce with almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, through the REST, OData and ODBC interfaces.

Our ERP is full of duplicate customer records. Can Rapidi help?

It can be part of the answer. At AliMed, a SQL table in the middle tied many Dynamics AX accounts to one Salesforce record, and Rapidi ran the transfers from that table. Tell us how your duplicates got there and we will tell you what fits.

Can Rapidi reach an ERP that runs on our own servers?

Yes. The RapidiConnector sits inside your network and uses one outbound port, with no fixed IP addresses and no inbound ports to open. Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3.

How often does the data move?

In real time when a record changes, or on a schedule you set per object: daily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute or triggered, depending on the subscription plan. Orders can move as they are raised while customer data syncs overnight.

Do we need developers to set it up?

No. Transfers are configured on screen, field by field, using ready-made templates, so an integration does not become a development project.
