Use case
Stripe Payment Integration with Your ERP
Customers pay through Stripe, but the books are kept in the ERP. Rapidi reads the payments from Stripe and transfers them to the ERP, so finance has them next to the invoices without exporting and re-keying.
What the Stripe integration does
Rapidi connects to Stripe through its REST Web Service connection, the same generic connection it uses for other REST-based services. It reads Stripe payment intents, and each run asks only for payments created since the last read.
The payments are mapped on screen to the ERP side, for example to payment journals in Dynamics 365 Business Central. Nothing is coded, and the mapping can change when your finance process does.
The payment flow can run in the same setup as a CRM to ERP integration, so customers, orders, invoices and payments line up in one place.
Who it suits
- You take payments online with Stripe and keep the accounts in an ERP.
- Finance exports payments from Stripe and keys them into the ERP by hand.
- You already connect a CRM such as HubSpot to the ERP and want payments in the same flow.
- You want payments to arrive on a schedule, not in a batch at month end.
Why Rapidi for payment data
A no-code connection to Stripe, run by the same platform that already moves your CRM and ERP data.
No code
The payment flow is configured on screen, not written and maintained as a bespoke interface.
Only new payments
Each run filters on the payment creation date, so Rapidi fetches what is new rather than the full history.
ERP inside your network
The RapidiConnector reaches an on-premise ERP through one outbound port, with no inbound ports to open.
Priced per plan
Adding Stripe does not change the licence, because Rapidi is priced per subscription plan, not per connector.
Which systems it covers
Stripe
Payment intents, read through the REST Web Service connection.
ERP and finance
Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV, GP, C5 and Oracle NetSuite, each with its own Rapidi connector.
CRM
HubSpot, Salesforce and Dynamics 365 Sales, when payments belong in the same flow as customers, deals and invoices.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a pre-built Stripe template?
No. Stripe is not one of Rapidi's pre-built integration templates. The connection runs through Rapidi's REST Web Service connection, and the payment flow is mapped with an integration consultant for your setup.
Which Stripe data does Rapidi read?
Payment intents. On each run Rapidi filters on the date the payment was created, so it asks Stripe only for payments that are new since the last read.
Where do the payments go in the ERP?
Where your finance process needs them. In Dynamics 365 Business Central, for example, the flow can write Stripe payments to payment journals.
We take payments in HubSpot, not Stripe. Can Rapidi move those?
Yes. Rapidi reads HubSpot's payments object, so HubSpot payments can go to the ERP directly, without Stripe in between.
How often does the data move?
On a schedule you set. The shortest interval depends on your plan, from one hour on Entry down to one minute on Unlimited.
What does it cost?
Rapidi is priced per subscription plan rather than per connector, so adding a REST service such as Stripe does not change the licence.
